Just take them off. They are not necessary and definitely not liked by this dog.
Oh stop bashing, some dogs are more comfortable when they don’t have to put their feet on snow and ice just to go to the bathroom. It can also be safer when walking them so they aren’t stepping on salt and chemicals that are put down in the winter. Dogs don’t take to leashes right away either it’s just something they learn to get used to.
I agree with Sam. She is rewarding the dog for coming to her, and is probably just trying to get her used to the feel of them. Its something new that the animal has to get used to.
I’m pretty sure she’ll appreciate it when she gets to go outside without her feet freezing…It may not be neccessary, but look at her. She obviously wasn’t bred for snowy winters.
She’s not being mean to her dog. And like Sam said, dogs will chew and pull on their leashes, does that mean we shouldn’t use them too?
if the dog looks uncomfy just take them off and put them on when the dog is actually going outside! not just to torture them!!! i rest my case
